Luke 23:33 When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. 34 But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
There was a large crowd at the cross when Jesus was executed. People were there for different reasons
√ Soldiers just doing their job
√ Curious onlookers seeing what is going on
√ Brave but struggling followers came to support their teacher & grieve
√ Religious enemies gloating over a foolish enemy
All of them saw the most pivotal, powerful moment of history. The ultimate sacrifice that made eternal life possible… that makes changed life through forgiveness possible. Most did not realize what was actually happening. Those who did were forever changed. What about you?
This Friday at 7:00 we will gather at the cross for a time of reflective worship. Twin dangers for believers today are either getting bored with the cross or too busy for the cross. Both conditional are dangerous for our souls and relationship. We will begin by sharing communion together in an upper room environment. You won’t want to miss this so arrive early if possible. From there we will move to the cross with the challenge of imagining what our response would have been if we were there.

Join us Friday evening to re-anchor your soul in the cross of Jesus. We have a room ready for you to meet with the Master.
1Peter 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
